Job Description
An intimate safari camp is looking for a knowledgeable FOH/BUTLER to join their team
A front-of-house butler ensures seamless guest experiences by combining service excellence with operational support. The role involves welcoming and assisting guests with check-ins and check-outs, maintaining clear communication with managers, and delivering refined food and beverage service. Key skills include cocktail preparation, wine knowledge, and the ability to set tables for various meals with precision.
Core Criteria:
- Formal training or certification in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Previous experience in luxury lodge, hotel, or wilderness hospitality preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic lodge operations and wilderness environment.
- Confidently prepare and serve a range of cocktails.
- Possess background knowledge of mixology and beverage presentation, including wines
- Set up tables for various meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, fine dining).
- Ensure attention to detail in table arrangements and service etiquette.
- Deliver warm, professional interactions with guests.
- Maintain clear, efficient communication with managers and team members.
