Established 4* property in Stxe2x80x99 Francis Bay is looking for a Front of House Operations Manager for their establishment just outside of Port Elizabeth. The incumbents will be competent individuals, multi-tasking whilst also managing staff and optimising customer-satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5- 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience within a similar role. You will be responsible for: The smooth and excellent management of all front of house areas, including the bar, housekeeping, various food outlets and beverages Hands-on and pro-active management of day-to-day
operations Event set ups Purchases, sales and stock control Cooperating with the Head Chef and other departments and continued staff training is vital Meet with the General Manager and Lodge Manager as required and update on property operations To maintain and ensure the good will of the MORE brand at property level To ensure the departmental management personnel of the property is up to standard, ensuring a streamlined and effective structure in line with hospitality trends To ensure effective departmental meetings take place, accurate minutes are taken and follow ups completed Have weekly one on one meetings with all HODs reporting directly Desired Experience & Qualification: Matric Relevant hospitality qualification - F& B Management Diploma Minimum 5 xe2x80x93 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience within the hospitality industry At least 6 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as Front of House Operations Manager and 3 years for Assistant Front of House Manager Sound knowledge of product and supply. Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Fluent in English & Afrikaans Skills Excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills The confidence to liaise with guests and colleagues alike Attention to detail Customer service attitude & solution oriented Self-motivated and results driven Professional personal presentation and assertiveness Ability to work under pressure and systematic Need to be professional at all times Diligent, honest & disciplined Committed to service excellence If you are interested in this opportunity, apply with your most recent resume & supporting documents.
