A fast-growing beverage brand is seeking dynamic Trade Merchandisers to drive in-store excellence and brand visibility across retail channels. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in the field, builds strong relationships, and brings energy and initiative to every outlet visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure flawless execution of merchandising and brand presence across retail stores
- Secure optimal shelf space and visual exposure for products
- Maintain stock rotation, placement, and promotional compliance
- Collaborate with merchandising partners to deliver perfect in-store execution
- Build rapport with store staff and management to support brand advocacy
- Identify new customer leads and contribute to sales growth
- Monitor competitor activity and report on market trends
- Submit weekly reports and actionable feedback to internal stakeholders
What You'll Need:
- 1 to 2 years' prior experience in FMCG merchandising (essential)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive, "do-what-it-takes" mindset
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Flexibility to support initiatives beyond standard hours when required
- Basic salary
- Fuel card up to R3 500 per month
- Cellphone allowance
- Quarterly incentive
