Oversee the daily operations of the hotel restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service at all times
Manage floor staff, provide training, and maintain high service standards
Handle restaurant administration including rosters, stock control, ordering, and cost management
Plan and execute corporate functions, events, and group bookings within the restaurant
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between FOH and BOH
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Drive revenue through upselling, menu promotions, and excellent guest engagement
Handle guest feedback professionally and maintain strong guest relations
Prepare management reports and liaise with the hotel's senior management team
Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 4-star hotel or high-end restaurant environment
Strong background in hospitality and food & beverage management
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage restaurant administration and budgets
Knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices in hospitality
Ability to manage events, corporate functions, and group dining effectively
Professional, well-presented, and customer-focused attitude
Must be based in Johannesburg or willing to relocate to Johannesburg South
Salary
R18,000 - R20,000 per month
