Why do we need you?



Input into policy formulation, review and deployment across the SSA region Management of the SLA of the appointed Fleet Management Provider. (FM provider is already appointed) Manage all fleet related services, namely Lease contracts, tracking system, fuel card, maintenance adjudication and to ensure strict adherence to SLA. Ensure all related administrative processes are completed on time and efficiently. Accountable for all fleet reporting requirements Act as a point of approval for all fleet related activities, within the Delegation of Authority assigned Ensure that all fleet related administration is managed accurately and in a timely fashion, holding providers to account where applicable. Identify and optimize cost saving opportunities Act as the Proxy for the business Accurate and comprehensive record keeping Accident Management process & roadside assistance Full traffic fines administration including payment and deductions via payroll Project management related to Fleet and related services Monitoring of maintenance and approval of costs of tyres and general maintenance Monitoring fraudulent vehicle activity Monthly submission of new joiners, leavers of company, pool and allowance vehicles Support with fleet data iro annual Insurance premium renewal Drafting and distribution of Tax fringe benefit letters

Facilities Management & EHS Management

Management of Saint-Gobain appointed Contractors, Cleaners and service providers Manage Landlord contractual services and adherence to the Health regulations according to legislation. Manage Departmental Budget Manage and review Business Continuity Plan Coordinate Monthly Safety Meeting and administration related to SHE Ensuring landlord responsibilities for the maintenance of all services in the building Coordinating the renewal of supplier contracts

This role requires an individual with Tertiary degree in Fleet management /Logistics/supply chain or BCom. Min 5 - 8 years in fleet Management experience and experience in facilities role will be an added advantage, you need to have been responsible for a fleet of not less than 200 vehicles and office management with 170 employees.The ideal candidate must be pro-active in identifying any risks / non-compliance with policy. Ability to experience to communicate with stakeholders at all levels to address matters relating to the Fleet and Facilities Management. Your Knowledge of ARRTO legislation and OHSACT will ensure you excel in this role. The ideal candidate must have strong administrative skills (Excel skills), SAP and people management.

The objective of this role is to provide a comprehensive fleet management solution for the Saint- Gobain Sub-Saharan Africa ("SG SSA") territory. The role consists of consolidated services such as driver monitoring/tracking, training and management, accident, licencing and traffic fine management, roadside assistance and fraud management, to name a few. The key deliverables include monitoring and maintaining fleet in a good operating condition so that SGSSA and all its divisions can adhere to the fleet management logistics and policy, administration, vehicle maintenance efficiently and cost-effectively.





The overall responsibility of managing the Facilities function holistically which consist of managing the Landlord and their contractual roles and responsibilities which consist of cleaning, consumables, security, canteen, maintenance services. Managing facility contractor services and cost centre budget for Midrand HQ offices. Supporting the HEAD of EHS in managing the Midrand HQ EHS.
