Our client, a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch, is seeking a Fixed Term Wine Lounge Hostess to join their front-of-house team for the upcoming season. The successful candidate will be professional, well-presented, and passionate about providing warm, personalized service to guests.
Description
The Wine Lounge Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests, managing reservations, welcoming visitors, and ensuring a smooth flow of service in the wine lounge. You will assist in coordinating seating arrangements and support the wine and service teams throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
- Manage reservations and maintain the seating plan.
- Liaise with the wine and service team to ensure smooth guest flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and lounge areas.
Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape
Contract: Fixed Term Seasonal
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or relevant hospitality qualification.
- 1-2 years' previous hostess or front-of-house experience in a luxury environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional presentation and enthusiasm for guest service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
