Fixed Asset Manager: Shared Services

Job Description
A JSE-listed Services conglomerate seeks an experienced Fixed Asset Manager to join their shared services finance team based in Johannesburg North.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the fixed asset department
- Oversee and approve all operating procedures for the fixed asset department in line with IFRS and tax legislation
- Complete accurate fixed asset transaction processing for the group
- Ad hoc projects across the fixed asset department
- Accurate and complete monthly operational reporting for fixed assets
- BCom in Finance or Accounting
- BCom Honors is advantageous
- Professional finance qualification will be advantageous
- 10 to 12 years' experience in a fixed asset role is essential
- Working with a significant fixed asset portfolio is essential
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills (non-negotiable)
- Attention to detail
- Ability successfully manage several different tasks simultaneously
- Financial acumen
- Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
- Team player
