Midrand - Gauteng - South Africa
An experienced, trade-tested Fitter & Turner is required to support machine maintenance, installation, and repair across production lines, the warehouse, and the company's administration facility. The role is hands-on and demands strong press-knowledge, sound lathe and milling skills, and a proven ability in hydraulics and pneumatics.
Key Requirements:
- Fitter & Turner qualification (Red Seal, Trade Tested).
- Minimum 5 years mechanical machine maintenance experience.
- Press maintenance knowledge is essential.
- Lathe, milling, hydraulics, and pneumatics expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with contractors.
- Logical problem-solving ability with planning and administrative competence.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge of presses.
- Equipment fault finding, operation, and repair.
- Precision and attention to detail.
