A dynamic company is seeking a skilled Fitter and Turner with strong CNC programming and CNC turning experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to support a high-performance workshop and contribute to the development and maintenance of advanced industrial systems.Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC turning machines to manufacture precision parts
Read and interpret engineering drawings for accurate machining and assembly
Assist with CNC programming and setup for efficient production runs
Assemble fan components, including bearings, shafts, couplings, and impellers
Diagnose, inspect, and repair components
Perform routine maintenance and complete job cards accurately
Support custom fabrication projects and assist with equipment modifications
Check finished parts for defects and verify measurements and tolerancesSkills & Experience:Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering workshop
Proficient in CNC turning and CNC programming (Fanuc or similar)
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
Able to work from technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
Experience with rotating equipment like fans or pumps is an advantage
Reliable, self-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision
Good communication and teamwork skills
Safety-conscious with good time management and flexibilityQualification:
Matric
