Job Description
Engineering company in Saxenburg Park (Black heath) seeks to employ a qualified fitter and turner, residing in the surrounding area with a valid driver's license. High level of quality & accuracy needed.o Set up and manufacture items based on detailed engineering drawings in accordance with set times.
Assembling of machines.
Measure and inspect own work to ensure that it meets the specifications detailed on the drawings.
Accountable for housekeeping in area around machine
Accountable for own safety, safety of machine and the work environment
Suggest and make improvements on quality, efficiency and safety aspects of the job
In-depth knowledge of engineering related principles and standards
Perform routine and preventative maintenance practices on existing equipment
Be meticulous and accurate.
Have good eyesight.
Good communication skills.
