Based in Johannesburg, this role puts you right at the heart of operations. You'll oversee the full financial function, from reporting and reconciliations to cash flow and compliance - ensuring that the business not only runs efficiently but accelerates toward its growth goals.
This isn't a desk-bound finance role. It's about understanding the business, owning the numbers, and driving strategy from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close with accuracy and pace.
• Oversee cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to ensure smooth operational performance.
• Partner with operations to analyse costs and improve profitability.
• Implement and maintain strong financial controls and governance processes.
• Prepare management reports and insights that support strategic decision-making.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom in Accounting or Finance (CA(SA) or completed SAICA articles advantageous).
• Minimum 1 year post-article experience in a commercial environment.
• Prior exposure to the energy, industrial, or manufacturing sector is a major plus.
• Strong technical accounting and reporting skills.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Confident, self-managed professional with the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Transport preferred due to location near Johannesburg CBD.
