KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cost effective allocation and use of company resources.
Identify cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
Act as the financial liaison between finance and operational teams
Ensure financial alignment with business objectives
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance
Provide financial data and analysis to aid strategic and operational decision-making.
Support forecasting and long-term financial planning.
Partner with department heads to evaluate business cases and investment opportunities
General control environment management
Support internal and external audits
Month End Reporting
Decision support for all operational divisions
Risk assessment and internal controls management

Annual budgeting (at departmental level)
Quarterly forecasting (at departmental level)

Assist Head of Finance/ Chief Financial Officer with any duties they may assign on an ad hoc basis
To liaise with corporate contacts, build and develop relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bcom in Accounting, preferably CA (SA)
At least 5 years in an accounting environment
Advanced Excel
