Job Description
Our client, who is a leading name in the travel and hospitality industry, is seeking a Financial Manager to take full ownership of financial performance across their meetings, incentives, conferences, and events, and sports travel portfolios.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in shaping the financial success of the company's Travel and Hospitality portfolios. This is your chance to combine finance expertise with the excitement of Sports and Events Travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the achievement of annual financial targets through debt management, reconciliations, and risk control
- Oversee working capital, supplier accounts, invoicing, and collections to ensure smooth financial operations
- Implement cost accounting frameworks to track profitability and guide strategic pricing
- Build strong supplier and client relationships, ensuring service excellence and timely payments
- Collaborate with the CEO and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, integrity, and performance
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
- BCom Accounting
- 5-8 years' experience in cost accounting and high-volume environments
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a proven track record in financial and auditing roles
- Advanced MS Office/Excel skills
- A strategic thinker with attention to detail and hands-on leadership style
