Job Description

Role Summary
Were looking for a hands-on Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of a multi-entity group. The role involves strategic financial reporting, compliance, team support, and direct collaboration with directors.
Location: Atlantis, Cape Town
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management

  • Manage full accounting across three entities
  • Deliver monthly management reports and variance analysis
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
  • Perform reconciliations and month-end procedures
Compliance & Audit
  • Handle VAT returns and payroll for 60+ employees
  • Liaise with auditors and ensure SARS compliance
Payments & Controls
  • Prepare supplier payments (finalized by directors)
  • Enforce financial controls and review supplier reconciliations
  • Work with sales admin to ensure invoice accuracy
Team & Systems
  • Supervise one finance assistant and support the admin teams
  • Maintain systems (Pastel or similar)
  • Provide insights and reports to directors for planning
Candidate Requirements
  • 5+ years in financial management or senior accounting
  • Experience with multi-entity operations
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, VAT, compliance
  • Proficient in Pastel and Excel
  • Stable, mature leadership style
Qualifications
  • BCom Accounting or equivalent (required)
  • Valid drivers license and own transport
