Role Summary
Were looking for a hands-on Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of a multi-entity group. The role involves strategic financial reporting, compliance, team support, and direct collaboration with directors.
Location: Atlantis, Cape Town
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Manage full accounting across three entities
- Deliver monthly management reports and variance analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
- Perform reconciliations and month-end procedures
- Handle VAT returns and payroll for 60+ employees
- Liaise with auditors and ensure SARS compliance
- Prepare supplier payments (finalized by directors)
- Enforce financial controls and review supplier reconciliations
- Work with sales admin to ensure invoice accuracy
- Supervise one finance assistant and support the admin teams
- Maintain systems (Pastel or similar)
- Provide insights and reports to directors for planning
- 5+ years in financial management or senior accounting
- Experience with multi-entity operations
- Strong knowledge of payroll, VAT, compliance
- Proficient in Pastel and Excel
- Stable, mature leadership style
- BCom Accounting or equivalent (required)
- Valid drivers license and own transport
