Job Summary
/Duties:
xc2xb7 Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process (Mainly cashbook).
xc2xb7 Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct supplier's ledger, customer ledger, cashbook and general ledger.
xc2xb7 Ensure timely reconciliation of the customer billing process.
xc2xb7 Perform the weekly cashflow and submit cashflow for approval.
xc2xb7 Processing payments on the banking system for approval.
xc2xb7 Assisting debtors and creditors administrators with reconciliations.
xc2xb7 Assisting debtors and creditors administrators with customer and supplier queries.
xc2xb7 Perform debit order reconciliation and journal processing.
xc2xb7 Review of the debtor and creditor age analysis.
xc2xb7 Review and approve of corrections to be done by the debtors and creditors administrators.
Minimum Requirements:
xc2xb7 Matric.
xc2xb7 Minimum 2 years working experience in working in a finance unit performing bookkeeper responsibilities. The telecommunications industry would be beneficial.
xc2xb7 Certificate / Diploma in bookkeeping would be beneficial.
xc2xb7 Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
xc2xb7 Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
xc2xb7 Ability to perform tasks on Excel.
xc2xb7 Previous experience in accounting software, Pastel Evolution.
