A leading organisation is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Accountant - Order to Cash to join their dynamic finance team.
This role plays a key part in supporting financial decision-making by collecting, processing, analysing, and reporting financial data, with a strong focus on revenue assurance and commissions.
This role is based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journals and financial statements accurately and timeously
• Process accounting corrections and transactions related to customer accounts and commission structures
• Perform specific balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items
• Complete reconciliations, working closely with third-party service providers
• Analyse and present monthly bank charges to stakeholders
• Ensure all financial records comply with company policies and accounting principles
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely financial reporting
• Identify and correct accounting errors or discrepancies
• Manage document archiving and ensure proper filing systems
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Assist with audit preparations and liaise with auditors during the audit cycle
• Prepare and compile statutory returns and reports when required
• Finalise monthly and year-end income statements and balance sheets
• Ensure compliance with all internal audit requirements

Requirements:

• Completed degree in Accounting.
• Completed SAICA/SAIPA Articles.
• 4 years proven experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
