Job Description
Introduction
A small to medium firm is looking for a finance officer who will be responsible for asset management
Duties & Responsibilities
Reconciling the fixed asset register to the general ledger monthly and preparing movement schedules
Overseeing tagging, tracking and verification of all physical assets across the Regions
Conducting regular physical audits and spot checks to ensure asset existence and condition
Investigating and resolving discrepancies between physical assets and the fixed asset register
Assist with maintaining financial accounting policies, procedures and processes relating to fixed assets
Monitoring adherence to financial accounting policies and procedures
Desired Experience & Qualification
Diploma or Degree in Financial Management, Economics, internal audit and related field
3 years experience in asset management (advantage)
Must reside in North West or Limpopo
Submit copy of qualification along with CV
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
