About the Role

HYPE - Youth is seeking a

Junior Finance Officer

to support the organisation's finance function and contribute to accurate financial administration and compliance. This role is ideal for a motivated early-career finance professional who is eager to gain practical experience in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and financial controls within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day

financial administration and record keeping

Support the preparation of

monthly management accounts and financial reports

Assist with

VAT, PAYE, UIF, and other statutory submissions

Capture and process financial transactions accurately Perform

bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations

Assist with

SARS eFiling submissions

and follow-ups Maintain proper filing and financial documentation Support audits and liaise with senior finance staff and external service providers Monitor expenditure and assist with basic cost control measures Provide administrative support to the finance team as required

Minimum Requirements

BCom in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Management

(or equivalent)

2 years' relevant experience

in a finance or accounting environment Basic understanding of

South African tax and statutory requirements

Exposure to

accounting systems

(e.g. Sage, Xero, Pastel or similar) Good computer literacy, particularly

MS Excel

Willingness to learn and grow within a finance function
