Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full financial function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, audit requirements, and company policies.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, including creditors, debtors, and payroll functions.
  • Conduct cost analysis and support operational decision-making.
  • Implement internal controls and improve financial processes and systems.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (essential).
  • Professional qualification such as CIMA, SAIPA, or SAICA (advantageous).
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a financial management role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Syspro, Pastel).
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
