Field Welder
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is looking for an energetic, sharp, dedicated and disciplined Field Welder to join their team.
The following are the minimum requirements:
API 1104 Field Welding Accreditation Proven experience as a welder or in a similar role is typically required. Proficiency in multiple welding methods (like MIG, TIG, and stick) and experience with various welding and hand tools is essential. SAIW certification beneficial

Skills and Competencies required
Interpreting plans:
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to understand project requirements.Surface preparation:
Clean and prepare metal surfaces to be welded, which may include grinding or cutting materials to the correct dimensions.Welding and fabrication:
Use various welding techniques (such as MIG, TIG, or Stick) to join, assemble, or repair metal components according to specifications.Cutting and shaping:
Operate equipment like torches, burning equipment, or grinders to cut and shape metal.Quality assurance:
Inspect welded surfaces for flaws and ensure the work meets quality standards and specifications.Equipment maintenance:
Set up, maintain, and ensure all welding and related machinery is in safe working condition.Supporting documents sent with CV:
