Corrective Field Maintenance Engineer (FME) is responsible to maintain all mobile network installations in order to ensure maximum network availability.

Duties & Responsibilities
xc2xb7 Maintain Cluster / Region / Network Allocated within a 24/7 availability model
xc2xb7 Attend to ALL alarms - RAN, Transmission, Power and RF
xc2xb7 Fault Finding, Troubleshooting, Fault Analyses and Reporting (Site Investigations)
xc2xb7 Apply Full Scope Corrective Maintenance Execution Including attending to Faults / Alarms on Masts and Roof Tops
xc2xb7 Complete Work Orders allocated within Network SLA and Quality Standards
xc2xb7 Manage Onsite landlord interaction
xc2xb7 Update Site Information
xc2xb7 3rd party supervision
xc2xb7 On-site Service Activation/Deactivation
xc2xb7 Preventive Maintenance and Planned Maintenance Execution
xc2xb7 Escalate Site Security Incidents and complete required SAPS Case Number Reporting
xc2xb7 Deploy, Connect, Recover and Refuel Mobile Generators as and when required
xc2xb7 New Site Acceptance and Approval prior to Activation
xc2xb7 Manage Spare Parts and Boot Spares within Network Process and ProceduresREQUIRED FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS CRITERIA
xc2xb7 National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or,
xc2xb7 N4 or higher Qualification in Electrical Engineering or,
xc2xb7 S3 or higher Qualification in Electronic Engineering or,
xc2xb7 Electrical Trade Test certificate or,
xc2xb7 BTech in Telecommunications / ElectricalACCREDITED COMPLIANCE TRAINING REQUIRED
xc2xb7 Valid South African Driver's License
xc2xb7 First Aid Training
xc2xb7 Fire Fighting
xc2xb7 Risk Assessment
xc2xb7 Working at Heights (Fall Arrest with Basic Rescue or Rope Access Lvl1)
xc2xb7 Valid Occupational Medical Certificate
xc2xb7 Clear Criminal Record (Network Requirement)ADDITIONAL SKILLS, APTITUDE AND EXPERINCE REQUIRED
xc2xb7 Minimum 5 Years' Experience in Telecoms Corrective Maintenance on domestic mobile
Network
xc2xb7 Experienced in Use of Specialised Testing Equipment (Site Master, 3ZAlligner, Pim Test, Power Meters etc.)
xc2xb7 Experience in Working with Industrial Mobile Generators
xc2xb7 High Level Computer literacy
xc2xb7 High Level of Relevant Technical literacy in English in both Written as well as verbal
