Reports to: Managing Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team.

The Maintenance Engineer will work closely with other Engineering Managers to support various engineering projects and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for engineering.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Assist engineering managers in the design, development, and testing of engineering projects and effective maintenance programs.

Conduct research and analysis to support equipment maintenance planning and decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop engineering solutions.

Assist in the preparation of engineering reports, documentation, and technical drawings.

Perform engineering calculations and simulations to evaluate design feasibility and performance.

Support the implementation and testing of engineering systems and equipment.

Conduct inspections and quality control checks on all engineering tasks to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.

Troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions to ensure equipment reliability and achieving OEE.

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering technology.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical field).

5-10 years of relevant engineering experience.

Strong knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and concepts.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role or manufacturing industry would be advantageous.

Familiarity with project management methodologies.

Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards

Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as CAD, MATLAB, or similar programs.

Working towards achieving G.C.C. (factories) within 3 years.

Solid understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
