A high-performing automotive dealership is seeking a dynamic and experienced F&I (Finance & Insurance) Business Manager to join our fast-paced sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for structuring finance deals, securing approvals, and offering value-added products and services, while ensuring compliance and delivering a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance & Insurance Duties:

• Structure finance deals accurately and efficiently in accordance with lender guidelines and dealership policies.
• Submit applications to financial institutions and negotiate best possible rates and terms.
• Present and sell value-added products (e.g., warranties, insurance, maintenance plans, paint protection, etc.).
• Prepare and explain finance and insurance documentation to customers.
• Ensure all F&I-related documentation is completed, signed, and processed correctly.

Customer Service & Compliance:

• Guide customers through the F&I process with transparency, professionalism, and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with POPIA, FAIS, and other relevant financial legislation.
• Maintain a high standard of ethical conduct and customer service.
• Build strong relationships with customers to support retention and referrals.

Reporting & Admin:

• Maintain accurate records of all finance and insurance transactions.
• Reconcile finance and VAPS (value-added products) commissions.
• Liaise with finance houses and insurance companies to ensure timely payouts.
• Submit regular performance reports to management.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric (Tertiary qualification in Finance or related field is advantageous).
• Valid FAIS accreditation (RE5 + NCA + CPD-compliant).
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an F&I Business Manager role within a franchised dealership.
• Proven track record with high-volume sales.
• Strong knowledge of automotive finance products, lenders, and compliance regulations.
• Computer literate (Automate, Kerridge/CDK, Signio or similar systems).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Target-driven, professional, and customer-focused.
