Farm Manager (Expat) - JhbA large Commercial Farming Business in Zambia, seeks to employ the services of a mature reliable manager for their business to hands-on manage, oversee, co-ordinate the row cropping & tree crop operations.ROLEFull responsibility for the arable section of the company. This includes the Cropping and Tree orchard sections.REQUIRMENTSEducation/QualificationsTertiary qualification in Agriculture or similar farming management qualification.Skills, Knowledge, and ExperienceThe ideal candidate would have sound knowledge of Farming, particularly potato and row cropping (maize, wheat, soya).Tree crops experience a benefit, but not required.Administrative, financial and project or operational management experience.Extensive farming experience; Minimum ten years farming experience.Minimum five years of managerial/leadership experience leading a team of > 50 people.Strong MS Office knowledge. Computer skills & the ability to maintain computer records of the herd are essential. Experienced with Cattle management programs will be advantageous.Age- 35 to 50 years of age.KEY ATTRIBUTESHigh level of initiative and integrity.Ability to adapt to new situations.Must possess excellent leadership skills.Should be a team player, diligent and hardworking.Must be firm and impartial in the affairs of his staff.Willing to accept additional responsibilities.PACKAGESalary xe2x80x93 (dependant on experience).Housing- suitable housing provided on site.Vehicle xe2x80x93 Provided.Medical Aid- Allowance provided.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
