Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Record keeping and administration.
- Implementation of irrigation, fertilizer, spraying, pruning etc.
- Management of staff.
- Adhere to and implement health and Safety Standards.
- Organise maintenance of the farm property.
- Development: Planning and management of any development.
- Budgeting and maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Responsible for advanced planning to maximise production.
- Drivers license
- Excellent Managerial and people skills that can effectively manage staff across all levels.
- A degree, diploma in Agriculture or BSc Agri .
- Computer literate in Office Suite.
- Telephone etiquette and to be able to handle suppliers, clients etc in an effective way.
- 5+ Yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Citrus Farm Manager/ soft fruits / sufficient project managing and technical skills could also fit the role.
- Confident and well presented.
- Good time management skills.
- Deadline driven
- Can work in a fast paced, pressured environment.
