Job Description

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Farm Administrator: She/He will mostly work very close with the GM who is managing the farm. Therefore if he/she has some potential as PA as well would be highly beneficial. A bit of background on the farm: The farm is about 2 years old and started as a project to supply our lodge with fresh products. However it grew so much that now we are supplying about 20 customers weekly. We have two sides: the agricultural one and the animal side (cattles, pigs, sheep, goat, chickens etc) and we are reaching a point where maintaining a structure on all of this is too much for a single person. We recently bought a neighbouring farm so we plan on continuing to grow the farm. The farm runs on Panstrat software as well (as the lodge) so it would be beneficial that the person would know Panstrat - if not admin can teach the person. Here a list of what we have in mind in terms of job/tasks:

• Farm invoices
• Farm availability list
• Organise Lodge orders
• Organise arrivals/departures admin, board
• Stock control ( Deli, Container, Coldroom) and management, issuing
• Keeping price list updated with new items and updated prices by regularly comparing our prices with other sellers
• Move all stock to Panstrat
• Keep animal admin up to date
• Keep deli admin organised ( recipes etc)
• Costings ( meat, animals, vegetables)
• Organise orders for farm logistics
• Farm HR admin ( salaries, leave, tips, deductions, loans)
• Liaise with lodge admin
• Farmers Market attendance
• Make promotional material to promote products
• Approach potential new clients
• Consolidate bank statement and payments

Salary we are potentially looking at anything between 15,000 and 20,000 depending on the candidate.
