Serve as the facility Emergency Response Coordinator
Attend the Health and Safety Committee meetings
Building Management:
Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds and facilities systems
Maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws
Respond to reactive maintenance issues timeously
Ensure the effective maintenance and management of Barloworld Equipment's motor vehicle
Supervise and co-ordinate works with contractors.
Ensure all suppliers adhere to company policies while on site.
Submit weekly building inspection reports
Oversee monthly inspection of portable electrical equipment, kitchen areas, ablution facilities, fire detection/equipment and other (as required)
Schedule and supervise preventative maintenance and liaise with Landlord where applicable
Plan, guide and supervise all gardening maintenance and improvements
Capture monthly water and electricity meter reading
SLA/KPI management for Soft and Hard services
Responsible for drafting scope of work for Facilities related RFQ/RFPs as per Procurement procedures
Financial Management:
Draft maintenance plan with costing
Analyse quotes received from contractors for cost optimisation
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Matric with Facilities Diploma/Degree or relevant Diploma/Degree
Three to Five years' experience in Facilities Management would be advantageous
Expert knowledge of Microsoft office is essential
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure
Good planning and organisational skills
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Sound Business and financial acumen
* Ability to manage employees (supervisory experience)
