Job Description
Key Outputs
- Maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day maintenance of equipment, facility and buildings
- Develop and manage a three year and five-year preventative maintenance plan for Isando facility
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance plan: Spray boots, compressor, wash bays / oil separation pits, Test cells Eng & Trans and overhead cranes
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance on site Forklifts, implement daily / weekly inspections. Load Testing
- Ensure suppliers adhere to company policies while on site
- Supervise and co-ordinate work by contractors
- Oversee monthly inspection of portable electrical equipment
- Achieving proactive cost-effective maintenance
- Accurate record keeping of all site maintenance.
- Responsible for drafting scope of work for equipment and facility related RFQ/RFP's
- Matric with Facilities Diploma/Degree or relevant Diploma/Degree
- Three to Five years' experience in Facilities Management would be advantageous
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft office is essential
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and good planning and organisational skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound Business and financial acumen
