Job Summary

The Facilities, Garden, and Maintenance Manager & Liaison will be responsible for the efficient operation,

maintenance, and beautification of facilities and gardens across Six33 Kiwis' farm properties. This includes

utilities management, risk oversight, and insurance coordination, as well as serving as the primary contact for

tenant-related matters on the farm. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, functional, and attractive living and

working environment and lead a small team to deliver consistently excellent results.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities and Garden Management:

- Develop and implement maintenance strategies.

- Supervise facility and garden work.

- Manage contractor relationships.

- Assist with budget control.

- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Utilities Management:

- Manage utilities supply and infrastructure.

- Communicate with municipal services.

- Implement sustainability initiatives.

- Track and report utility expenses.

Insurance Management:

- Understand and evaluate insurance cover.

- Support claims processes.

- Coordinate with relevant parties.

Risk Management:

- Identify and mitigate operational risks.

- Ensure compliance and maintenance checks.

- Stay updated on industry risks.

Tenant Liaison:

- Address tenant maintenance and garden issues.

- Conduct inspections.

- Serve as emergency contact.

Team Leadership:

- Lead a team of garden and maintenance employees.

- Conduct reviews and training.

- Build a collaborative work culture.

Qualifications and Experience

Job Specification: Facilities, Garden, and Maintenance Manager & Liaison

- Qualification in Facilities Management, Horticulture, or similar.

- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience.

- Knowledge of systems, utilities, and insurance.

- Compliance and safety understanding.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.
