Barko Financial Services (BFS) is a leading micro-finance institution in South-Africa, established in 1996. The group offers an ethical and innovative credit solution to formally employed employees right across the country. Barko Financial Services is seeking to recruit a competent, dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate for a position as a Fabricator, sharing our BFS vision, mission and values. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Transforming raw materials, typically metal, into finished products using various fabrication techniques and equipment.
• Skillfully assembling fabricated parts into finished products, meeting the highest quality standards.
• Perform quality checks and ensure that the finished product meets the requirements.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in fabrication/signage.
• A valid driverxe2x80x99s license.
• Proficient in operating various machinery and fabrication tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to operate various machinery and fabrication tools.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in metalwork.
• Fast learner with good communication skills.
• Computer skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
• Must be able to relocate to Lydenburg temporarily.
• Willingness to travel between branches nationally.
• Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize.
• Motivated, trustworthy, reliable and hardworking.
• Good communication and ability to work well in a team environment.
