Our client in the Lighting industry is currently looking for External Sales Representatives, in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales Manager.
Actively seek out and engage customer prospects. Provide solutions for customers to boost revenue growth.
Maintaining sales and support to existing clients.
Compile an accurate and comprehensive data base on customers and their relationships/influences.
Call and follow up on retail stores, in the hardware and any re-sellers (DIY)
Generating growth of allocated and new customer base on power quality products and solutions.
Prepare customer proposals, reports and quotations.
Prepare and conduct training/presentations to customers.
Conducting exhibitions and customer specific training if required.
Update customer base on product updates and new products.
Prepare and report on sales for the area.
Attend key project or customer meetings.
Report on competitor activities in the area.
Compile monthly sales review and forecasts.
Assist engineering and technical staff with projects and studies.
Perform other duties as directed by Sales Manager/Management.
Business review xe2x80x93 implement promotions.
Requirements:
Valid Grade 12 Certificate is a must.
Tertiary qualification preferably in Electrical Engineering.
A minimum of 3 - 4 years Electrical Sales experience.
Must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s licence.
A strong knowledge of electrical products.
Computer literate xe2x80x93 preference will be given to users with strong K8 knowledge.
Ability to present capital energy saving spend schemes to potential customers.
Proactive and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets, thorough understanding of the marketplace and end customers, with specific focus on securing sustainable and profitable revenue.
