Experienced Bookkeeper - Luxury Bath & Body ManufacturingLocation:

based in Muizenberg, seeking an

experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper

to join our growing team.This is a hands-on, on-site role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and financial control.

Key Responsibilities:

Full bookkeeping function to trial balance Managing debtors and creditors Bank and account reconciliations Processing invoices, payments, and journals VAT calculations and submissions Assisting with monthly management accounts Payroll processing and support.

Preparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufactured products

Working closely with production to ensure accurate costing and stock control Maintaining accurate financial and manufacturing cost records

Requirements:

Proven bookkeeping experience (manufacturing experience essential) Experience working with

Bills of Materials and product costing

Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, Pastel, Sage or similar) Solid understanding of VAT and financial compliance Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Professional, reliable, and discreet Must have own transport
