accurate financial reporting, effective stock management, and tight cost control

Hospitality or restaurant experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and manage inventory controls (FIFO)
Monitor stock levels, ordering, receiving, and storage
Investigate and report stock variances
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory values
Process and reconcile supplier invoices
Reconcile inventory with the general ledger
Assist with food costing,
COGS
, and waste control
Use accounting, inventory, and POS systems for reporting
Requirements
Minimum
5 years' experience
in restaurant or hospitality bookkeeping
Strong knowledge of
inventory and stock control
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Experience with accounting and POS systems (Zero, Lightspeed, Marketman, Meshed 360) essential.
