Bookkeeper (JB5325)
Midrand, Gauteng
R25 – R30 000 CTC per month
Permanent

Seeking a mature and experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established company in the retail space. This position is ideal for someone who is professional, friendly, and highly organized, with a passion for numbers and a desire to grow with the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance, working with a high book value within a single entity

Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5 or more years of solid bookkeeping experience
Experience working with IQ Retail software is essential
Strong understanding of bookkeeping to trial balance
Must have own car and a valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role

Duties and Responsibilities:
Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank and general ledger reconciliations
Processing journals and maintaining accurate financial records
VAT calculations and submissions
Liaising with external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, suppliers)
Monthly reporting and assisting with financial statements
Maintaining an efficient and orderly accounting system
