Job Description


Job Purpose
To formulate and position multiple marketing and communications resources and functions , business
unit operating models and frameworks in a broadly defined organisational strategy in order to position
and enable horizontal alignment, implementation and adoption.
Specific Role Responsibilities

GENERIC JOB OUTPUTS
PROCESS

  • Align to, and implement corporate governance frameworks and business models in compliance with the relevant legislation, policies and business processes.
  • Develop and deliver highly targeted, well-planned, coordinated and integrated marketing campaigns through optimal use of best technology and platforms.
  • Develop and refine the marketing strategy to ensure market relevance, driving effective implementation to realise marketing objectives.
  • Diagnose, analyse and represent market trends upward and laterally to the larger organisation and ensure alignment with these market trends.
  • Direct the implementation of brand awareness and corporate identity.
  • Ensure effective and responsible marketing communication whilst upholding Company values .
  • Plan, implement and manage entire product life cycle.
  • Ensure good relationship with the OEM and all stakeholders.
FINANCE
  • Develop and/or provide input to the multi-functional budget to ensure that the strategic deliverables are adequately budgeted for.
  • Ensure accurate budget forecasting against committed forecasted sales.
  • Manage all marketing supplies (Agencies) in line with service level agreements
CLIENT
  • Formulate integrated service delivery frameworks to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain broad understanding of the latest targeted communication methods to engage customers and consumers to maximum effect.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate a network of sustainable stakeholder relationships.
  • Plan and deliver services and/or products that create a culture which aims to exceed customer' expectations in the business.
  • Research insights into changing customer and consumer behaviour, to enhance brand affinity.
PEOPLE
  • Actively demonstrate leadership through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organisational values.
  • Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition.
  • Direct the development and implementation of human capability and accountability frameworks across all multiple functions to ensure the achievement of people management strategies.
  • Drive change management activities across multi value chains to ensure optimal adoption for change.
  • Own and live up to company values.
Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor of Commerce: Business Marketing & Communications

Post Graduate qualification would be preferred.

Minimum Experience

8 - 10 years' experience in a similar environment, of which 3 - 4 years' at senior management level.
Skills and Personal Attributes

Minimum Requirements
  • A broad understanding of the motor and/or the logistics and /or transport industry and legislation relating thereto.
  • Extensive evidence of ATL and BTL experience
  • Strategic use of targeted media channels
