Job Purpose

Design and deliver unified industry-leading juristic digital client channels that enable delightful client-centric journeys and experiences. The digital channels align to Nedbankxe2x80x99s digitisation strategy and support corporate, commercial and business banking value propositions, revenue opportunities and cross-sell.


Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate collaboration and manage relationships across the bank and its products and functions to create a unified proposition, generate digital channel insights and direct strategy and priorities.
  • Own the digital channel vision, strategy, and roadmap to support the client value proposition, operating model, and cost efficiency ambitions.
  • Take accountability for reaching digital channel adoption targets set across segments by managing stakeholders, supporting clients, and working on a scaled adoption and change programme
  • Accelerate the move off legacy technology while considering business risk, change management, and commercial constraints.
  • Assume the overarching Product Owner role in the Juristic Journey program and deliver the digital channel within budget and planned timelines.
  • Deliver differentiated digital channel design and experiences.
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics to drive effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and report against committed business commitments.
  • Work with the Technology Product Owner to improve channel performance, quality, and efficiency.
  • Drive training, marketing, and communications of digital channel capability for clients and staff.
  • Support promoting and selling of channel capabilities to achieve sales targets.
  • Manage the juristic channel team effectively across the HR value chain (recruitment, performance, development).
  • Establish and manage relevant governance and compliance structures to monitor and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Challenge the status quo to improve the environment, culture and shared purpose.
  • Challenging the status quo with a view to improving the environment or people's understanding



Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
  • Professional Qualifications/Honourxe2x80x99s Degree



Preferred Qualification

Relevant Masters Qualification (Relevant business-related e.g. Computer Science Finance, Data Science)


Minimum Experience Level

8 - 10 Years experience in:
  • Strategy development and execution.
  • Digital channel management and execution
  • Client experience and design
  • Leading technology/ systems implementation

5 - 6 years experience in managing/leading others
