Executive Chef - 5-star Luxury Boutique Hotel - Limpopo
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our luxury boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Limpopo. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and experienced chef to showcase their talent in a refined and scenic setting.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee all kitchen operations and culinary activities within the property
-Design and execute seasonal, innovative menus that reflect the hotel's upscale identity
-Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
-Manage, train, and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing team
-Ensure strict compliance with health, hygiene, and food safety regulations
-Monitor kitchen inventory, control food costs, and reduce waste
-Collaborate with management on budgeting, menu pricing, and supplier relations
-Uphold and enhance the hotel's brand standards through excellent dining experiences
Requirements:
-Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine-dining or boutique hotel environment
-Formal culinary training or recognized chef qualification preferred
-Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
-Deep knowledge of food trends, modern techniques, and sustainable sourcing
-Hands-on approach and willingness to be involved in daily kitchen activities
-Must be able to thrive under pressure and maintain a positive kitchen environment
