Events Coordinator / Sales - HartebeespoortDescriptionBakwena Day Spa seeks an experienced and passionate Events Coordinator to oversee our events planning and execution. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for managing events of all types, such as weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, and conventions and to ensure that Bakwena Day Spa is represented at these events. This person will be responsible for managing and coordinating event logistics, working with vendors and clients to create brand awareness and market the Day Spa extensively. If you have a passion for planning and executing successful events, creating brand awareness and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.Responsibilities:Create event timelines, budgets, and schedules.Coordinate all aspects of events, including catering, vendor coordination, decor, and transportation.Serve as the main point of contact for clients and vendors.Work with clients in determining their event needs and exceeding their expectations.Develop and manage event budgetsManage any on-site issues that may arise during events.Ensure that all events adhere to health and safety regulations.Assist with marketing and promotional materials to support event attendance and create extensive brand awareness.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12 and / or equivalent qualification.A tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Marketing, or Event Management will be an added advantage.At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.A proven track record and success in event management rolesStrong organizational and project management skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work well with a teamHighly detail-oriented and able to multitaskAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as and when required.
