Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised ESTATE & HOSPITALITY MANAGER for a luxury property in the Waterberg area.
The candidate will oversee the smooth running of a private residence, maintain the estate to impeccable standards, and deliver exceptional yet discreet hospitality during family visits. The ideal candidate will have a genuine appreciation for remote, nature-based living, thrive in a high-expectation environment, and bring pride, ownership and discretion to all aspects of the role.
Candidate Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations and general upkeep of the property
• Implement and manage preventative maintenance plans for buildings, vehicles and grounds
• Supervise staff and coordinate external service providers
• Ensure guest readiness at all times, including housekeeping standards and estate presentation
• Provide warm, discreet hospitality and anticipate needs during family visits
• Plan and coordinate meals (for couples, cooking responsibilities may fall to the second partner)
• Manage budgets, stock control, procurement and record-keeping
• Uphold high standards of safety, security and confidentiality
• Assist with logistics such as arrivals, departures and activity planning

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in estate, lodge or hospitality management (private residence experience advantageous)
• Strong organisational, administrative and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on, proactive and comfortable in a remote environment
• Excellent communication and people management abilities
• High levels of discretion, professionalism and service excellence
• For couples: one partner ideally experienced in hospitality/culinary duties

This is a live-in position with a 3/1 work cycle.
