EPC Procurement Manager - Renewable Energy
Overview
Join a leading renewable energy developer at the forefront of delivering utility-scale Solar PV, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) projects. We are seeking a highly motivated EPC Procurement Manager to lead the full EPC procurement lifecycle-from strategic sourcing through to contract award-ensuring best-value outcomes that align with project, financial, and compliance objectives. Working closely with Business Development, Engineering, Construction, Legal, Sustainability, and O&M teams, you will drive competitive tenders, manage supplier relationships, and ensure smooth contract handovers into execution.
What You'll Do

• Design and manage the procurement roadmap from requirements definition through to EPC/OEM contract award.

• Lead and manage EPC and equipment supply RFPs for Wind, Solar PV, and BESS projects.

• Structure, negotiate, and finalise EPC contracts in line with industry standards, project timelines, and budget targets.

• Coordinate RFP kick-off workshops, gather cross-functional inputs, and prepare solicitation documents.

• Define and apply transparent, measurable bid evaluation criteria in collaboration with engineers and key stakeholders.

• Facilitate bidder queries, oversee clarifications, and manage both technical and commercial adjudication.

• Conduct comparative bid analysis, shortlist contractors, and negotiate final terms.

• Identify, qualify, and maintain a database of EPC contractors, OEMs, and technical service providers.

• Build and manage strong supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with performance and strategic objectives.

• Maintain a central repository of procurement records for audit and compliance purposes.

• Handover complete procurement documentation to construction teams post-award.

• Develop and maintain pricing benchmarks to support future negotiations.

• Monitor contractor performance during execution and integrate lessons learned into future procurement processes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

• 5-10 years' experience managing procurement for power-generation or renewable energy projects.

• Proven success in leading complex EPC procurement and contract negotiations.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in project management and procurement software tools.

• Solid understanding of legislation, corporate policies, and industry standards.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and supplier performance.
