We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated
Enrolled Nurse
with a robust nursing background to join our compassionate team. This role is based at our prestigious retirement villages and healthcare facilities, where you'll play a key role in enhancing the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a healthcare provider, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Monitor residents' health status, record vital signs, and update patient charts and electronic records accurately.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support and manage patient care plans.
Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and provide immediate care when needed.
Provide hands-on nursing care to residents, ensuring comfort and hygiene while promoting dignity and respect.
Visit residents regularly to assess their health, provide care, and identify any additional assistance needed.
Support the Registered Nurse in running the estate clinic.
Educate residents and families on health care and disease prevention, tailoring communication to diverse needs.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance healthcare services and practices.
Ensure the security and proper handling of medications and medical equipment.
Assist in the development and execution of patient rehabilitation protocols and contribute to therapy sessions.
Support administrative requirements, including participation in audits and compliance checks.
Requirements:
Must be an
Enrolled Nurse
, registered with the relevant authorities.
Fluency in
Afrikaans and English
is essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and empathetic demeanour.
Personal reliable transportation.
Passionate about advancing healthcare delivery and creating a nurturing environment for residents.
Able to work Monday to Friday, with one Saturday shift per month.
