Key Responsibilities

• a??Lead and manage national technical teams providing direct service and support to external customers.
• a??Ensure machine diagnosis results in the most accurate and cost-effective remedy for faults.
• a??Develop, implement, and maintain a standardized technical training strategy to ensure all technicians meet required Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards.
• a??Establish and standardize an effective maintenance program for all contract equipment.
• a??Oversee and maintain the complete library of machine service and parts manuals.
• a??Compile and present comprehensive technical reports on equipment performance to clients at regular intervals.
• a??Analyze and report on all internal and external warranty claims submitted.
• a??Monitor and control the budget and spending of all subcontracted technical work.
• a??Prepare, manage, and plan annual budgets for all national workshops and technical functions.
• a??Ensure strict adherence to all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) requirements.
• a??Facilitate weekly national meetings with department managers to ensure alignment and operational consistency.
• a??Travel as required to branch locations and client sites.
• a??Maintain complete and accurate documentation as part of the company's standardized service routine.
• Compile and review financial quotes for repetitive technical work.

Experience & Qualifications

• a??Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering-, Technical- or Artisan field.
• a??NQF Level 5 or higher Management qualification.
• At least 10 -15 years experience in people management / managing a technical team.
• a??Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training to staff.
• a??Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, coordinate and lead a large technical team.
• a??Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and stakeholders at all levels and clearly communicate and transfer complex technical knowledge.
• a??a??Proficiency in the Google Workspace (G Suite) environment.
• a??Experience in Data Management. (Intermediate level).
• a??Knowledge of data logging and technical reporting processes.
