Job Summary JOB ROLE: Ensure the company is registered as local supplier on all vendor lists of mining and industrial clients in local area Actively promote the sale of company services to new and existing customers Represent the company as a local supplier of Diesel/Motor Engineering and Field services in and around the designated region Support company products, divisions and distributors to improve sales of company products in the area. Service mining and construction sectors. Focusing on Diesel Engines/Motor Engineering and Truck Re-build. REPORTING: Report leads, tenders and opportunities to the Branch & Ops Managers Weekly records of client meetings Maintain and update customer data base in the proposed area Obtain information and report on competitor's products and services, pricing policies and business strategies Weekly sales leads reports, related administrative functions. Ability to travel long distances and out of town travelling. REQUIREMENTS: Matric Target Driven A recognized technical qualification (Diesel/Petrol + Field Service) will be an advantage. Suitable applicants must have technical mining sales background and be at ease with earthmoving equipment or Mining Machinery. At least 3 - 5 years Technical Sales in Mining & Construction. Computer literacy - good general computer knowledge and experience in Windows, MS Word, Outlook and Excel. Valid driver's license. Resident in the region Good communication skills in Afr & Eng.
