Job Summary JOB ROLE: xe2x80xa2 Ensure the company is registered as local supplier on all vendor lists of mining and industrial clients in local area xe2x80xa2 Actively promote the sale of company services to new and existing customers xe2x80xa2 Represent the company as a local supplier of Diesel/Motor Engineering and Field services in and around the designated region xe2x80xa2 Support company products, divisions and distributors to improve sales of company products in the area. xe2x80xa2 Service mining and construction sectors. Focusing on Diesel Engines/Motor Engineering and Truck Re-build. REPORTING: xe2x80xa2 Report leads, tenders and opportunities to the Branch & Ops Managers xe2x80xa2 Weekly records of client meetings xe2x80xa2 Maintain and update customer data base in the proposed area xe2x80xa2 Obtain information and report on competitor's products and services, pricing policies and business strategies xe2x80xa2 Weekly sales leads reports, related administrative functions. Ability to travel long distances and out of town travelling. REQUIREMENTS: xe2x80xa2 Matric xe2x80xa2 Target Driven xe2x80xa2 A recognized technical qualification (Diesel/Petrol + Field Service) will be an advantage. xe2x80xa2 Suitable applicants must have technical mining sales background and be at ease with earthmoving equipment or Mining Machinery. At least 3 - 5 years Technical Sales in Mining & Construction. xe2x80xa2 Computer literacy - good general computer knowledge and experience in Windows, MS Word, Outlook and Excel. xe2x80xa2 Valid driver's license. xe2x80xa2 Resident in the region xe2x80xa2 Good communication skills in Afr & Eng.
