Job Description
Our client in the manufacturing sector is an Electrical & Mechanical Technician to join their team. The incumbent will maintain, repair, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems across production, packaging and site-wide equipment
Location: Devland
Key requirement
- Valid driver's license (code 10 with PDP) required for on site travel
- Relevant qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Electrical systems maintenance& repair, diagnose electrical faults on production
- Maintain and upgrade electrical panels, wiring sensors and control systems
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
- Mechanical systems maintenance & repair, troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on production lines, conveyors, pumps, motors and packaging equipment
- Perform mechanical adjustments and replacements to maintain optimal equipment performance
- Preventative maintenance
- Installation and commissioning
- Safety compliance
- Record keeping
