We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Johannesburg
Role: Electrical Engineer (Building Services)
Industry: Engineering & Construction
Level: Mid to Senior
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng/BSc) or equivalent
Professional registration (ECSA Pr Eng/Pr Tech Eng) is an advantage
5+ years of experience in building services engineering
Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems
Experience with relevant electrical design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux, or similar)
Familiarity with SANS, NEC, and other electrical codes and standards
Proven track record in project management, from design to execution
Ability to conduct site inspections, technical evaluations, and commissioning
Personal Attributes:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in design work
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for innovation in electrical engineering
