Job Description
POSITION - ELECTRICAL DRAUGHTSMAN Vacancy for an experienced draughtsman that will use their skills to do electrical designing relating to Generator set and to supervise a team. REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a draughtman in the electrical field.
- Draughting certificate and/or electrical trade qualification.
- Must have excellent knowledge of PLC drawings, MCC drawings, panel lay-outs, controls etc.
- Qualification as draughtman
- Competent to create detailed designs using CAD software - compulsory.
- Ability to plan, schedule, liase with relevant departments to ensure equipment are in place to meet the scheduled planning.
- Liaise with production teams and identify potential operational issues.
- Ensure design quality, technical content, and technical accuracy of electrical drawings and manufacturing on assigned projects that meets company standards and customer satisfaction.
- Strong mathematical skills and accurate drawing techniques.
- Ability to work long hours and to meet deadlines.
