Our Client a well established Engineering firm is seeking the services of an experienced Draughtsman with at least 5+ years General Civil Engineering Experience.POSITION INFO:Our Client a well established firm is seeking the services of an experienced Draughtsman with at least 5+ years General Experience.Experience:5+ years General Civil Engineering Experience RequiredQualifications:Certified AutoCAD Operator, or National Certificate: Multi-disciplinary Drawing Office Practice, or National Diploma in Engineering.Membership/ Registrations:Membership of the South African Institute of Draughting (SAID)Software:AutoCAD, other Autodesk packages. Civil or Civil 3D advantageousSalary: Market RelatedDuties

• Promoting and applying employee engagement practices and concepts, especially in relation to recognition, empowerment, supportive feedback, partnering, expectations, consideration, and trust.
• Promoting and applying ethical and professional practices
• Is a resource to any project in any capacity which can be assigned to any task by any Program or Project Manager if the task is assigned using the resource management systems (Sciforma)
• To perform all work in accordance with the Companys Quality Management System (QMS), Policies and Standards
• To perform the assigned duties, even in the absence of relevant quality and procedural workflows and templates, to the best of your ability
• Taking full responsibility for the quality and compliance of your own work.
• Work under the direction of an engineer / engineering technologist / engineering technician.
• Prepare drawings in accordance with instructions received from the design team and conforming to the companys Drawing Office Standards.
• Maintain accurate drawing revision control.
• Take responsibility for the correctness of work done.
• Undergo training in order to maintain existing skills or to develop new skills.
• Attend and participate in project meetings as required.
• Keep team members and project managers informed of workload and deadlines to assist with work schedule.
• Assist, teach and mentor less experienced draughtspersons.
