Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for capital equipment.
Produce wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts using CAD tools.
Specify and select appropriate instrumentation and electrical components.
Assist with PLC and control system integration in collaboration with automation teams.
Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).
Contribute to commissioning activities and resolve technical issues on site if needed.
Ensure all work complies with applicable standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma or BTech/BEng in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
3-6 years' experience in E&I engineering within an OEM, EPCM, or capital equipment environment.
Experience in control panel design, instrumentation specification, and industrial wiring.
Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation systems.
Competence in CAD software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical).
Strong understanding of SANS and IEC standards.
