EHS Manager: Manufacturing - GautengFull job descriptionSHEQDrive closure of non-conformances, corrective and preventative actions identified through risk assessments, audits etcImplement and execute group strategy at site levelProvide input into the SHE budget and spend for the siteAssist site management in the development and tracking of the SHEQ objectives and targetsDrive Process Safety Implementation for the siteComplianceAssist Front end Sale when Umbog site audits or inspection are required by customersInfluence business leadership on SHE mattersEnsure that the AECI SHEQ risk Management process are followedImplement, Monitor and improve critical controls to improve site risk exposureProvide assurance on SHE workplace and legal complianceParticipate in internal and external audits for the site (e.g. ISO 45001, PSM, SANS 1827/8, ISO 9001, legal compliance and 14001)Monitoring and reporting Site EHS performance on regular basisPlan and monitor EHS training for site personnelEnsure that Licence conditions are adhered to at all timesEnsure that Annual reports are completed and submitted to authorities as per the licence conditionsConduct Supplier auditsImplement Responsible care for the siteSHEQ Process/proceduresEnsuring that risk studies are conducted prior to approval of MoCsDevelop, maintain SHE site proceduresEnsure that AECI EHS standards are implemented on siteCollaboration with Operations and engineeringFosters teamwork and collaboration between functionsInfluencing and coaching on SHEQ mattersQualifications & Experience4 Year Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma (safety, environmental, engineering or equivalent)Professional Registration / Membership advantage5 - 8 Years experience in Chemical manfucturing plant with EHS backgroundRisk Management KnowledgeInvestigation and Root Cause AnalysisSHE Systems - Evaluation and integrationSHE Legal knowledgeInfluencing and coaching skillsData analysis, interpretation and recommendationsEngagement and interpersonal communication
