Job Description
In delivering xe2x80x98social science that makes a differencexe2x80x99 the Research Divisions, Units, Institutes and Centres of the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) undertake policy-oriented research from its offices in Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, and Pietermaritzburg. Our public purpose mandate is set out in the Human Sciences Research Council Act of 2008.
HSRC Publishing is a small but prolific and innovative publishing house of social science and humanities scholarship and outstanding non-fiction from and about Africa and the global south.
The publishing house has a vacancy for an Editorial & Project Manager. This position requires an individual to ensure that the editorial quality of HSRCxe2x80x99s publications is to the highest possible standards, within the budgetary and time frameworks relevant to each publication.
This will be a permanent appointment, and the successful incumbent can be based in either the HSRCxe2x80x99s Cape Town or Pretoria based office.
